It was recently rumored that new single-player DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 might be in development, even though Rockstar has confirmed no such thing, but the rumor mill was convinced that it’s happening because the actor who plays Franklin in the game posted a picture of himself wearing a motion capture suit at what appeared to be a Rockstar studio. Can there even be a single-player GTA 5 DLC that doesn’t involve Michael, another pivotal character in the game?

One might think not, because of how the gameplay progresses in GTA 5, it might not make sense to add new missions to the game without involving any other characters. Ever since rumors started circulating the new DLC is in the pipeline the actor, Ned Luke, who plays Michael De Santa has been hounded with questions about it.

He took to Facebook to point out that he doesn’t know anything about new DLC, writing that “EVERYBODY wants single player DLC… I know NOTHING about that,” adding that he doesn’t know when it’s going to happen or if it’s going to happen at all.

Rockstar has previously said that the GTA 5 team is now involved with creating content for GTA Online and that there aren’t any plans for new single-player DLC, even though many fans of the game would certainly like to get some.

If you’re one of those fans then keep your fingers crossed, perhaps it might happen at some point in the future.
