Choosing car back in the day used to be about pricing, design, and also performance. Those criterias are still extremely important, but these days customers have more things to consider, such as added tech features like self-driving capabilities, whether it has internet capabilities, or infotainment systems like CarPlay or Android Auto, and etc.

Now one of Ford’s features would be FordPass, which for those unfamiliar is an app designed by Ford that incorporates several useful features that drivers might be able to appreciate. It was originally launched earlier this year in January, but at MWC 2016, Ford CEO’s Mark Fields has announced that the app and its features will be making its way over to the European market.

So what is FordPass? For those learning about it for the first time FordPass comprises of four elements: a marketplace where drivers can access services; FordGuides that helps customers and drivers resolve any issues, which you can think of like a mobile concierge; Appreciation where members are rewarded for their loyalty, and FordHubs where customers get to experience Ford’s new innovations.

According to Fields, “This all-new platform that we are launching in Europe later this year is really about listening to people’s needs and developing ways to help them move better. It’s also about convenience, connecting consumers with the world and making it all incredibly easy.” In the meantime you can check out some of the features of FordPass in the demo video we shot above.
