Game of Thrones is an incredibly successful TV show and fans really can’t wait for the next season to arrive. HBO has started teasing season 6 of Game of Thrones to get the hype going for the new season like GoT needs any help with that, and today it has released a very spooky new trailer that features some old but familiar faces.
If you’ve read the A Song of Ice and Fire books or seen the previous seasons then you’d know what the Hall of Faces is. It’s not surprising to see the likes of Ned Stark, Rob Stark and Joffrey Baratheon in there but it’s certainly surprising to see Tyrion, Sansa, Daenerys and others also appear in the Hall of Faces.
Jon Snow’s fate is on everybody’s mind, though. The actor who plays him has been spotted on set even though he was killed off in the previous season, and he has also said that Jon Snow is dead for good. That’s quite alright because most fan theories revolve around Snow returning as more of a dead being.
The fact that we can hear Jon Snow saying “The long night is coming, and the dead come with it,” in this trailer is only going to add more fuel to the rumors of him returning in one form or the other to Game of Thrones.
Game of Thrones season 6 premieres April 24th on HBO.
