Last year, EA and DICE announced that the upcoming Mirror’s Edge Catalyst title would be delayed to May 2016. Prior to this the game was pegged for a release in February, but we guess we’d rather have it delayed and polished, rather than have a game released early but still buggy.

That being said, for those who are new to the Mirror’s Edge franchise and want to know more about the character and the story for Catalyst, you’re in luck as EA has recently launched the story trailer for the upcoming game. This trailer basically gives us a bit more background about the character Faith. Note that the trailer is based on the game’s engine, so this is what gamers can expect when they play the game, and boy does it look good!

In addition to launching the story trailer, EA also announced that they will be kicking off a closed beta for the game. This closed beta is applicable for players with the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, or the PC. Gamers who are interested can head on over to the Mirror’s Edge website, login with their EA account, and sign up for it.

It is unclear how gamers will be selected to take part in the closed beta, or when the closed beta will be launched, but if you are interested you can go ahead and try your luck.
