Lumia_950_1Last month Microsoft announced a promotion for customers who purchased either the Lumia 950 or the Lumia 950 XL, in which these customers would be entitled to a free one year subscription to Office 365. However the offer was limited to countries such as U.S., UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The good news is that it looks like Microsoft has decided to expand their offerings to more countries. According to reports, it seems that the offer is now available to customers living in India, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and Australia. All owners of either handset have to do to claim the offer is install the Lumia Offers app, enter their email address, and this will give them access to Office 365 on one smartphone or tablet, and one PC or Mac.

Normally an Office 365 subscription will cost $69 per year, so by taking Microsoft up on this deal you will have saved yourself $69. However we should note that this is only for a one year subscription, meaning that if you wish to keep using it for the following year or the for the foreseeable future, you’ll have to keep paying its subscription.

Also take note that this offer is only valid from now until the 30th of July, so you’ll want to move quickly if you wish to take advantage of it. In the meantime the Lumia Offers app can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
