Ubisoft has already confirmed that it’s going to launch an open beta for The Division. The announcement followed a closed beta for this game that was launched earlier this month. Xbox One owners get one-day exclusivity but the open beta will certainly be available on PlayStation 4 and PC. It’s now possible to pre-load The Division beta so that it’s ready to play when it’s unlocked.

The Division open beta start dates have already been confirmed by Ubisoft. It kicks off February 18th for Xbox One and will arrive the very next day for PlayStation 4 and PC. The beta will end on all platforms come February 21st.

Ubisoft has confirmed today that everybody can pre-load The Division open beta now on all platforms. It’s going to be a hefty download, around 27GB, so it’s best to download it ahead of time.

You wouldn’t want to miss out on the precious few days in which the beta will be live. Those who already have the closed beta installed are in luck. They merely have to download a 1.6GB patch.

There’s some new content included in the open beta, it’s the new Tech mission which gives players access to another wing of their operation centre as well as a new skill. The Division’s Dark Zone has also been tweaked so it’s worth checking out as well.

The Division will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 8th.
