If you’ve heard a lot about The Division but haven’t really got around to spending your money on it, you might want to fire up your gaming console this weekend because The Division is going free for all. The free weekend will enable players to try out the game without paying for it. If they like what they see, they can then get done with the weekend and purchase the game at a discounted price. That’s how these free weekend offers work.

Ubisoft confirmed today that it’s going to make The Division free to play for all PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC gamers for the coming weekend which runs from May 4th through May 7th, 2017. Players will get access to the entire game throughout the free weekend and all of their progress will be carried over if they decided to purchase the game later.

As previously mentioned, the game is going to be offered at a discount after the free weekend is up. Those who end up liking the game and want to buy it will be able to purchase The Division at a 60 percent discount which applies to both standard and Gold Editions. The Gold Edition includes the season pass.

Players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will be able to purchase the game from their respective digital stores at 60 percent off once the weekend is up. There is one caveat though, for Xbox One owners, they are going to need an Xbox Live Gold account if they want to play online.

Players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 actually get an extra day, the free weekend will expire on May 8th for them.
