According to leaked renderings and photos, it seems that the upcoming iPhone 7 will sport redesigned antennas. This is why when a new photo was leaked yesterday, it was assumed that it belonged to the iPhone 7 as well due to the similarities in design. Unfortunately the latest leaked photo is not the iPhone 7.
Instead it is actually the upcoming Meizu Pro 6. This has been confirmed by Meizu’s VP of sales and marketing, Li Nan who posted a comparison photo on Weibo which shows the rendering of the company’s upcoming handset. As you can see when compared side-by-side, it certainly looks like the handset in question does belong to Meizu.
However we suppose it could have easily been mistaken for the iPhone 7 given the previous renders, but either way we guess the previous report has since been debunked. That being said, the Meizu Pro 6 is a phone that has yet to be officially launched. The company has been teasing information about it for a while now but has yet to officially debut the handset.
In any case we suppose part of the surprise is gone with this latest confirmation, but hopefully we will get all the details in the coming days/weeks.
