If you’re looking for more things to customize your Super Mario Maker experience with, you might be interested to learn that Nintendo has announced that they will be putting together a costume and Event Course inspired by Japanese idol group, BABYMETAL. This is expected to make its way to the game later tonight, so gamers will want to keep an eye out for it.

For those unfamiliar with BABYMETAL, it is a group consisting of a trio of girls – Su-metal, Yuimetal, and Moametal. While they might have a cutesy image and poses, and with dance moves in their videos that might seem more pop than anything else, once they start singing it is anything but. As the name implies, this is actually a metal group that uses a trio of females as their lead singers.

While their image and their music appear to be polar opposites, the group has found themselves a pretty strong fanbase and have been making headlines around the world. Their appearance in Super Mario Maker will consist of a Mystery Mushroom costume that basically combines all three members into a single character.

It works similar to the Paper Mario costume but will come with different sound effects. In any case you can check out the video above to learn more about Nintendo’s collaboration with BABYMETAL, or alternatively you can check out the video below to see one of their performances, but you might want to turn the volume down for it.
