yahoo-cloudThere is the adage, where better late than never. Having said that, Yahoo Mail is now starting to be able to be on par with the other free email services out there, where one can now drop Google Drive files as well as GIFs right into one’s Yahoo email. This is certainly a step in the right direction, thanks to the integration feature which will surely be a boon for those who have remained loyal to Yahoo all these years.

While Yahoo Mail is late to the game, at least they are now able to hold their own out there. Gmail from Google has had Drive integration on Android for a couple of years already, not to mention Dropbox since May last year.

It is also nice to be able to simply drop in GIFs just like that, and since a picture speaks a thousand words, it is a whole lot easier to show what is trending with an animated GIF rather than to type the entire shebang up. The Yahoo Mail update is already live on Android, and it should not be too long after for the iOS version to make its mark as well. A little bit of patience would go a long way when waiting.
