The first version of Viber’s universal app for Windows 10 was released last month. Viber has taken in all of the feedback it has received from users since then and created an updated version which brings features that many users have requested. The new Viber for Windows 10 update also sheds the beta badge so it’s truly good to go now. Video calling is one of the major features that Viber has received with this update.
Viber says that video calling for the Windows 10 app is perhaps the most requested feature, so it has complied with those requests and added the feature to the latest update.
Quick reply is another new feature that has been added to Viber for Windows 10. Viber will now pop up messages outside of the app so users can quickly reply and continue doing whatever they’re doing without having to jump back and forth between apps.
Cortana support has included as well. Users can make phone calls and send text messages entirely using Cortana. Support for Russian and Portuguese languages has been added too.
The updated universal Viber for Windows 10 app has several minor features as well all of which are focused on making conversations seamless for users. The app is live now and can be downloaded right away from the Windows Store.
