When guys are done at the urinal, there are a couple of ways to go about this. For some, shaking it a few times to get rid of excess drops is one way, but there are some who are particular and might grab a tissue to dab themselves dry before pulling up their pants, citing hygiene as one of the reasons why.

However in the future, you may no longer have an excuse for not drying yourself because inventors are working on a hi-tech urinal that will wash and dry your penis after you’re done going to the bathroom. Dubbed the Urinary 2.0, this device is currently being worked on by a team consisting of biochemist and businessman Eduard Gevorkyan, economist Ivan Giner and coach Miguel Angel Levanteri.

How it works is simple: there are built-in sensors that will be able to detect when you’re doing peeing, after which soapy water will then be applied for three seconds to the penis to wash it, and once that’s done, it will blow dry the area for another three seconds. In total the washing process should take about 6 seconds.

It’s an interesting idea although we’re not sure how many people would actually take advantage of it, but we suppose at the end of the day it really boils down to personal preference and personal hygiene. No word on whether anyone will actually adopt this design, but the team are selling their patent for around €680,000.
