Acer has been in the business of making Chromebooks for a couple of years now and today it has released another new product that’s light on the wallet and offers decent specifications. The new Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532-C47C comes with a 15 inch display so it solves the problem for those who having been meaning to switch to a Chromebook but only if it has a big display. The only caveat here is that the resolution of this display is 1,366×768 but you won’t mind that once you hear how much it costs.

The new Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532-C47C is powered by an Intel Celeron N3060 dualcore processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. It’s a Chromebook after all, don’t expect to get much in the way of performance and storage.

All customers receive 100GB of free Google Drive storage and there’s also a built-in SD reader in the tablet for easy external expansion. Additional features include LED backlighting, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, BLuetooth 4.2, HDMI port and two USB 3.0 ports.

Acer has said that this is one of the few Chromebooks that’s set to receive support for Android apps but it doesn’t say when the support will arrive on this notebook. The company also promises a 12 hour battery life. Acer’s new 15 inch Chromebook is now available for purchase for just $199 from Walmart and other retailers.
