If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the next major Pokemon games you will be interested to find out that The Pokemon Company today confirmed the release date for the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon demo. The demo is going to be released for the Nintendo 3DS later this month while the proper public release is going to take place next month.

The Pokemon franchise needs no introduction. It has existed for decades across different mediums, including but not limited to gaming consoles, cards, and television. Pokemon games have sold more than 279 million copies across the globe so you can be sure that quite a few people will be picking up the new titles.

The new games will also be aided by the fact that the Pokemon franchise is seeing a resurgence of late thanks to Pokemon Go, the mobile game that has taken the world by storm over the past couple of months. A trailer for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon has also been released today to show the first evolution of the starter Pokemon.

The Pokemon Company has confirmed today that the demo for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is going to be released for Nintendo 3DS on October 18th, precisely one month before the new games are supposed to be released on November 18th.
