Tesla’s autopilot feature was a glimpse into the future of the company’s plans, and yesterday the company announced that from here on out, all Tesla cars that are produced in the company’s factory would come with self-driving hardware. For those wondering where Tesla’s self-driving capabilities are at, you’re in luck as they have since released a video showing it off.

In the video above, it shows a Model X that not only manages to drive itself around, but it also can park itself completely without any human interaction needed. However Tesla notes that there is a driver in the car due to the legal requirement which needs a human behind the wheel, kind of like how Google’s self-driving cars have been tested. Other than that, it shows off the company’s self-driving tech pretty well

We have to say that Tesla’s tech does look pretty good and far along in its development. However as per the previous report, Tesla did state that they still need to collect millions of miles of data in order to fine tune the system better. Also in case you missed the previous report, the self-driving feature will not be activated yet until Tesla can figure it out.

Instead the company is simply putting in the hardware as a way of future-proofing their vehicles, so if you are planning on purchasing a Tesla, you won’t have to worry about upgrading to a newer model in the future if you want self-driving capabilities.
