ea-origin-winterEarlier we reported that Valve had just launched their Steam Winter Sale for 2016, bringing about a ton of discounts to games. Some are pretty generous at 70%, while other titles are seeing tiny discounts at 10%, but like we said, something is better than nothing. However in case Steam doesn’t have the games you are looking for, don’t worry.

If you are looking for discounts on EA-published titles, you’re in luck as EA has announced the Origin’s Winter Sale. Essentially this is the same thing as Steam’s Winter Sale except that it will apply to the Origin store which seems to mostly cover EA-based games. There are a bunch of titles that have been discounted, with some newer titles like Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 seeing some pretty huge price cuts by as much as 50%.

There are also a bunch of games that EA has priced at between $10-$20, so if you’re looking for some oldies but goodies, you might be able to find something. Such titles include Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, just to name a few of the titles available in that list.

Unfortunately EA did not mention when the deal is expected to come to a close, so for all we know it could end sooner than we would like. In any case to check out the sales, hit up the Origin store for the details.
