It has been a while since Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown release for PlayStation 4 was confirmed and finally, there’s good news for Xbox One and PC gamers. Bandai Namco today confirmed the Ace Combat 7 Xbox One and PC release. The game is going to put players inside the virtual cockpit of some of the most advanced fighter planes and deliver a thrilling air combat experience through great visuals and intense dogfighting action in an immersive storyline.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is developed by Bandai Namco’s in-house Project Aces team based in Tokyo, Japan. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and trueSKY technology. This game was previously believed to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive but it’s clear not that this isn’t the case. Ace Combat 7 will be released for Xbox One and PC as well.

It promises to provide players with “an arsenal of ultra-modern and near-future super weapons” to take on enemy pilots in the air whether they’re playing the campaign mode or the online multiplayer.

Unfortunately, Bandai Namco is yet to confirm a release date for Ace Combat 7 so we’ll have to wait for that crucial bit of information.

At least we now know that the game is going to be released for both current-gen gaming consoles and PC via Steam. Parts of the game will be exclusively playable on the PlayStation VR as well, this has already been confirmed.
