moto-e3-power
Motorola released a list of devices that are going to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update about a couple of months ago. The list didn’t include the Moto E3 Power. The company has now officially confirmed that the Moto E3 Power Nougat update is not in the pipeline so those who own the device should stop keeping their fingers crossed for it.

The Moto E3 Power was first released in Hong Kong last year. Since Android devices tend to be supported for major updates for at least two years, those who own this handset would certainly be waiting for Nougat to arrive.

Motorola only released this handset in selected markets such as Hong Kong and India so the device isn’t as widespread as say another model that got a proper global release. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why Motorola has decided not to release the Moto E3 Power Nougat update.

Motorola’s official customer help website for India has made it clear that the Moto E3 Power is going to stay on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and that it’s not going to get Android 7.0 Nougat.

Those who own this device and want a taste of Nougat can only really do one thing and that involves changing their smartphone.
