The Resident Evil franchise is a long and storied one and has generated quite a number of titles as well as movies. The latest incarnation of the game comes in the form of Resident Evil 7 and the good news is that just as promised, the game has been officially released so gamers who have been looking forward to it can get their hands on it now.

In a post on Capcom’s blog, “The day is finally here. Resident Evil 7 biohazard is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC! Capcom has listened to what fans want from the Resident Evil franchise, and with RE7, you can experience the true fear that fans have come to expect from Resident Evil in the twisted corridors of a mansion in Dulvey, Louisiana.”

The reviews of the game seem to be off to a good start. Capcom also appears to have gone back to their horror roots with Resident Evil 7 which is a good thing as from what we can tell from the various trailers, it looks pretty damn scary. It is also available on the PlayStation VR so gamers looking to give themselves a scare now have a newer and more hi-tech way of doing so.

It is also available on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. As you might recall, it was announced that it would be an Xbox Play Anywhere title so gamers who purchase it on the Xbox can also play it on the PC and vice versa. Unfortunately a release on the Nintendo Switch was recently ruled out.
