If you’ve been meaning to purchase a Nintendo Switch you might be finding it hard to get your hands on one. The console has been selling like hot cakes and many retailers have already sold out of their initial batch of units. They are now waiting for Nintendo to ship them a new batch that they can later sell to customers. GameStop has previously said that sales of the Switch have been strong.

It’s obviously seeing a lot of interest in the console from customers. It has now confirmed that those who want one will be able to buy Nintendo Switch from GameStop once again on March 22nd. It has also been reported recently that Nintendo is responding to the rising demand for its new console by doubling production of the Switch.

It’s now expected to produce 16 million units of its new console over the next 12 months as opposed to the initial target of 8 million units. Nintendo actually had a launch target of 2 million units and recent reports have shown that it has already sold more than 1.5 million units of the Switch soon after the console was released.

GameStop advises that customers should check with their local store when it’s going to receive the shipment and then hurry on down there to pick one up before they sell out of all units which is likely to happen because demand is still high for the console.
