Vizio was recently in the news after it was confirmed by LeEco that it had decided to give up on its planned $2 billion acquisition of the former. That obviously hasn’t stopped Vizio from forging its way forward. The company today announced a couple of new audio products which include a soundbar that’s compatible with Chromecast and even comes with Google Assistant baked in.

Vizio’s SmartCast 36″ soundbar promises 5.1 wireless sound, it includes crystal-clear dialog as well as a wireless subwoofer. While Vizio soundbars have been known to be frustrating when trying to stream music from Spotify, hopefully, the company will have addressed the issue in this new product.

The Vizio SmartCast 36″ soundbar is available for purchase right now for $250. There are smaller options available in the series that obviously cost less than the SmartCast 36″.

Vizio has also come out with the Grave Go speaker. It’s a Wi-Fi streaming device which can either be used as part of the home audio setup or as a portable speaker when you’re out and about. It’s very versatile that way. It also has support for Chromecast. the built-in battery promises six hours of life. Vizio is selling the Crave Go via its website starting today for $199.
