When Apple first unveiled the AirPods wireless earphones, many were quick to mock the design which looked like EarPods with their wires cut off. They also mocked how expensive they were, and how much it would suck to lose one earpiece. However it seems that despite the initial mocking, those that went ahead and bought a pair seem to love them.

According to a survey conducted by Experian and Creative Strategies (via AppleInsider), it turns out that customer satisfaction levels for Apple’s AirPods are at a whopping 98%! This means that almost every customer who bought a pair are either “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with their purchase. It seems that these satisfaction levels are the highest as far as Apple products are concerned.

Ben Bajarin who is the principal analyst at Creative Strategies writes, “The overall customer satisfaction level of 98% sets the record for the highest level of satisfaction for a new product from Apple. When the iPhone came out in 2007, it held a 92 percent customer satisfaction level, iPad in 2010 had 92 percent, and Apple Watch in 2015 had 97 percent.”

The customers who were surveyed gain high scores for the earphone’s ability to charge in a short amount of time, the charging case design, and also the pairing process which is accomplished through the new W1 chipset inside of the earphones.
