There have been a lot of rumors about the upcoming OnePlus flagship smartphone over the past few weeks. Even the company teased it once and now it has confirmed when we can expect the device to arrive. It was reported earlier this week that the OnePlus 3T 128GB was out of stock and many speculated that perhaps it won’t be restocked now that the OnePlus 5 is in the pipeline. The company says that this isn’t going to happen, at least not yet.

If you head over to the company’s online store right now, you’ll find that the 128GB OnePlus 3T in Gunmetal color has been listed as “discontinued.” However, the company has said that this is only a temporary measure.

OnePlus has confirmed in an official statement that it will continue to supply the 128GB OnePlus 3T in Gunmetal. “People who want to get the device can wait for next wave of inventory. Currently, for Gunmetal lovers, they can still purchase 64GB ones now. And midnight black 3T, as a limited edition, has been sold out,” it said, in a statement provided to BGR.

So this means that the company isn’t going to properly discontinue the 128GB OnePlus 3T soon. It’s probably going to wait a while after the OnePlus 5 is released to take such a major step as this. Customers who have been wishing to buy one have to wait for a bit longer now until the next wave of inventory arrives.
