If you’re thinking about getting yourself the OnePlus 3T, now is probably the time to do so because OnePlus has recently confirmed the rumors and speculation that the handset will soon be discontinued. This was revealed by a OnePlus staff member on the official OnePlus forums.

According to the post, “This is the last call to buy the OnePlus 3T before stock runs out. Only a few devices are left in our warehouse, so purchase yours before time runs out.” We’re not sure why the company is going to discontinue the OnePlus 3T, but presumably with OnePlus being a relatively smaller company compared to the likes of Apple or Samsung, perhaps their resources are better focused towards the production and development of the upcoming OnePlus 5, rather than on a handset that will soon become last year’s memory.

However the company is reassuring its users that they will not be ignoring their older handsets in terms of updates, and will be continuing to support them software wise for now. “Thanks to our Beta Program, we’ve also been able to implement more of your feedback, which has really helped improve the quality of our updates. And we’d like to keep it that way! So rest assured that we’ll continue to bring more software updates and support to the OnePlus 3 and 3T. “
