If you’re looking to check out Bungie’s Destiny 2 before buying the game, you might be pleased to learn that Bungie has since announced the dates for the open beta, which will be kicking off on the 18th of July. However we should note that this date is for early access for those who pre-ordered the game.

It is also only for PS4 gamers where it will last from the 18th of July until the 20th of July. As for Xbox One gamers, early access for you guys will begin on the 19th of July and run until the 20th of July. For gamers who did not pre-order the game but want to enjoy the game anyway, open beta for all consoles will kick off on the 21st of July until the 23rd of July.

If you’re a PC gamer who is looking to get in on the open beta, Bungie has confirmed that beta access for PC gamers will only begin in August. No specific dates have been mentioned and we expect that will be revealed closer to the date. Destiny 2 is expected to be released in September for consoles, and it will be launched on the PC a little over a month later in October, which might explain why the PC’s open beta is set for a later date as well.

In the meantime if you have a minute or so to spare, then check out the Destiny 2 open beta launch trailer in the video above.
