Logitech is a company that specializes in creating peripherals for computers, such as keyboards, mice, speakers, gaming headsets, and more. The company caters to both the casual user as well as gamers, and it looks like Logitech will be expanding its gaming headset lineup thanks to the acquisition of ASTRO Gaming.

According to the announcement on Logitech’s website, “I’m happy to share that we’ve found this same love for design and the sport of gaming in our newest team members: joining the Logitech G gaming team is ASTRO Gaming. ASTRO’s history of producing award-winning headsets for pro esports and console gamers perfectly complements the PC gaming expertise Logitech G is best known for.”

The good news is that for now, Logitech will be leaving ASTRO as it is, which means that fans of the brand can look forward to nothing changing, except that maybe they’ll have access to more resources. Whether or not this arrangement will change in the future remains to be seen, as we have seen how Logitech has sort of incorporated some Ultimate Ears branding into their products after acquiring them.

This acquisition will also allow Logitech to better compete against the likes of other gaming headset makers, such as SteelSeries and Razer.
