Folks in the United States who have been looking forward to picking up Nokia’s new affordable handset will be able to do so come July 10th. It was confirmed several weeks ago that Nokia 6 would be making its way to the United States. The handset will be available for purchase unlocked and off-contract via Amazon on the aforementioned date.

The Nokia 6 is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which can be externally expanded to up to 128GB. It has a 5.5 inch full HD display, 16 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera, fingerprint sensor, and more. The handset comes with Android 7.1 Nougat straight out of the box.

All of the internals are neatly packaged inside a body that has been created from a single block of 6000-series aluminium. So it’s going to offer a premium look and feel. The handset also features a smart audio amplifier with dual speakers and Dolby Atmos support.

Interested customers can pre-order the Nokia 6 on Amazon starting today. It’s going to be released on August 18th. The handset has been priced at $229. Since this is an Amazon Prime exclusive, the online retail giant is offering a $50 discount to Prime customers so they can save even more on this seemingly great affordable smartphone.
