We’ve been hearing a lot of whispers about this handset recently and now it has been leaked in all its glory. A very reliable source has leaked the Nokia 8 specs and price. This is the new flagship smartphone that HMD Global has been working on. In case you forgot, HMD Global is the company that’s making Nokia-branded smartphones now. The Nokia 8 follows the Nokia 3, 5, and 6 that have already been released.

Popular Twitter leakster @evleaks has revealed a lot of information about this device today. Blass previously confirmed that the Nokia 8 has a dual camera system. He says that the company is going to launch the Nokia 8 on July 31st.

The handset is said to be powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Nokia 8 is said to feature a 5.3 inch QHD resolution display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 6GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel dual camera system at the back with Carl Zeiss optics.

The Nokia 8 was recently listed by a Scandinavian retailer for €589 in blue steel, gold/blue, and gold/copper colors. It means that the handset is likely going to cost over $650 in the United States unlocked and off-contract.

It remains to be seen if any of the major carriers in the country are going to pick up this device or if it’s only going to be sold directly to customers through retailers.
