Apple’s iPhone 8 event is one that is highly-anticipated, but the question is when will it be taking place? A recent rumor has suggested that it will be taking place on the 12th of September, and now it looks like more reputable sources have “confirmed” that the 12th of September is a date that is most likely to be used by Apple to launch their new products.

Reports from both TechCrunch and The Wall Street Journal are claiming to have insider information who has revealed to them that the iPhone 8 will be announced on the 12th of September. This event is also expected to see Apple launch the iPhone 7s, 7s Plus, and also potentially the Apple Watch Series 3 as well.

It is said that the event could be taking place at the Apple Park which is the company’s new headquarters that was recently built. TechCrunch writes that there is a possibility that the event could be delayed as this is dependent on the whether or not the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park can be completed in time, but so far it seems that the date has been “nearly locked in”.

Either way if the rumors are true, Apple should start sending out invites to its event soon so we guess we won’t have to wait much longer.
