Bluetooth speakers come in varying shapes and sizes, but if you’re after something small and compact that you can chuck easily into a backpack and bring with you on the go, then Bose has you covered as the company has recently announced the Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speakers.

The SoundLink Micro is part of Bose’s SoundLink series of speakers and as its name implies, is the smallest speaker offered by the company to date. It measures 3.75-inches wide and deep, and is 1.5-inches high, and only weighs 0.64 pounds, so bringing it with you on your travels should not be much of an issue.

According to Bose, the SoundLink Micro will feature a new custom transducer, miniature dual-passive radiators, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that according to the company will offer up to 6 hours of playback before requiring a recharge, which we guess is more or less standard these days.

The speakers are also resistant to water, and thanks to its silicone exterior it will be able to withstand drops and scratches to a certain extent. It also comes with a strap that lets users attach it to their backpacks, bikes, and other gear. The SoundLink Micro is priced at $110 and will be available starting 21st September where it will come in a black, midnight blue, or bright orange finish.
