Announced at E3 2017 a few months ago, Capcom has recently confirmed that the upcoming Monster Hunter: World will be released on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles on the 26th of January 2018. Just like the previous announcement, the release on consoles will be taking place first and the release for the PC will be at a later date which has yet to be specified.

In addition to the release date, Capcom also confirmed that there will be a Digital Deluxe Edition and a physical Collector’s Edition for the North American market. The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $70 and “includes the digital game, plus additional customizable options that can be used in-game: a Samurai Set skin, three gestures, two sticker sets, plus an extra face paint and hair style option for the hunter.”

As for the Collector’s Edition, it will retail for $150 and “includes a physical copy of the game, voucher for the additional customizable options from the Digital Deluxe Edition (a Samurai Set skin, three gestures, two sticker sets, plus an extra face paint and hair style option for the hunter), a 32 page hardcover art book, high-quality flagship monster statue, and digital soundtrack code all bundled in a custom collector’s box.”

As for Japan, it seems that Sony will also be releasing a Monster Hunter: World-themed PS4 Pro model. Until then gamers can also check out the new trailer that was released for the game in the video above.
