Microsoft has confirmed that its annual Future Decoded event is going to take place in London from October 31st to November 1st. The company’s Surface chief is going to give a keynote speech at this event. This means that there’s a possibility that Microsoft might have some new Surface devices to show off which it might do at the event in London.

The company has confirmed to The Verge that Panos Panay, the Surface boss at Microsoft, is going to give a keynote speech at Microsoft’s Future Decoded event in London.

The timeline matches up nicely as well. Microsoft has a habit of launching new Surface products in the month of October. Sources familiar with the company’s plans that spoke with the scribe claim that there’s going to be at least one new device at the event.

It’s unclear at this point in time what the company is going to launch at its event next month. Microsoft has talked about an LTE version of the Surface Pro so perhaps that might be announced officially. It’s also possible that Microsoft might launch a new Surface Book or Surface Hub at the event.

Microsoft also confirmed its plans to release Windows notebooks powered by ARM processors earlier this year.

“We are on track to see Windows 10 on Snapdragon devices become available this year as previously shared,” a spokesperson for the company said, so perhaps it will reveal more about this at the event as well.
