Recently Bethesda announced that they will be bringing DOOM onto the Nintendo Switch, which means that DOOM will now be playable across pretty much all platforms which includes the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. So the question is, which platform is DOOM the “best” to play on in terms of graphics?

We guess given the customizability of the PC where gamers with huge budgets can put together monstrous rigs, the answer is pretty obvious. So the next question is how does DOOM fare compared to the other platforms? That’s what YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits tried to find out when it compared the graphics of DOOM across all of its playable platforms.

Like we said, the PC is the clear winner in this case, but the PS4 actually holds its own pretty well. The Xbox One looks like it would probably rank third, and the Switch comes in last. Then again the Switch isn’t exactly being marketed as a powerful high-end console, but we reckon that it still looks good enough to enjoy the game on.

At the end of the day we guess it depends on your gaming preference, whether you’re more of a mouse and keyboard kind of gamer, or if you prefer consoles, and which consoles you already own, but it’s still a fun and informative comparison nonetheless.
