It’s no longer uncommon to see internet companies spend significant sums of money to pick up original content. Apple has been investing heavily in original shows while Amazon has long been investing in original TV shows and movies. Facebook is doing the same thing and according to a new report, the company has now placed an order for a ten-episode straight-to-series show that’s going to be half-an-hour long and female-driven with Elizabeth Olsen starring in the lead role. Master of None‘s James Ponsoldt will direct and executive produce multiple episodes of the show created and written by Kit Steinkellner.

Deadline reports that the as yet untitled show starring Elizabeth Olsen is going to run on the Facebook Watch streaming platform. This is believed to be one of the first in a series of planned acquisitions by Facebook to bring more content to its nascent streaming platform.

The plot hasn’t been revealed as yet but reports suggest that Olsen will be playing a young widow that’s trying to make her way through life by dealing with grief and reconnecting with relationships from her past.

The other cast members haven’t been revealed as well. It’s also unclear when production on the new show will begin and when Olsen’s fans can expect to see her new show land on Facebook’s streaming platform.
