Freebies are a great way to make your customers happy, and Google knows this because according to emails that Google Home owners are receiving, it looks like Google is giving away free audiobooks to those who own Google’s smart speaker. However we’re not sure if this is applicable to all Google Home owners, or if there are certain requirements that one must meet in order to be eligible.

Also note that there seems to be a caveat of sorts in which users can only get “eligible titles” for free, meaning that there could be some titles that don’t qualify for this freebie. There will also be a time limit (check your email notification) which seems to be quite short because according to Droid-Life, their invite appears to expire within the week, so you’ll want to hurry if you want to take advantage of it.

All users have to do to claim their free audiobook is open up the email and click the link in the email. From there you’ll just have to find the audiobook you want, click the option to buy it, and it should be discounted to $0.00, after which you’re good to go. Google Home’s audiobook feature was launched a couple of weeks ago, and presumably this latest promotion is to try and get more users to try it out.

The company had previously offered a 50% discount on their first purchase, but with this new deal it looks like Google Home owners will be able to claim a title for free.
