According to the latest rumors, it has been suggested that the iPhone SE 2 will not come with a headphone jack. Considering that Apple has been doing away with the headphone jack since the iPhone 7, we suppose this shouldn’t really come as a surprise but this is just a rumor for now so take it with a grain of salt.

That being said, the existence of the iPhone SE 2 is a bit contested right now. Recent regulatory filings have indicated that the phone could be in the works and could even be announced in the next couple of months. However an earlier report by reputed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone SE 2 might not be in development.

The report claimed that Apple had used up its development resources and that they might not have enough left for the iPhone SE 2. Kuo also published a report earlier this week suggesting that Apple could have a cheaper iPhone in the works priced at $550. Assuming that is true, it would make sense for Apple to offer that phone to its budget-conscious customers over the iPhone SE 2.

Either way we guess we will find out at WWDC 2018 (or possibly earlier) if Apple might have a new iPhone SE 2 to announce, but until then take it with a grain of salt.
