God of War is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year for PlayStation 4 owners and the wait will soon be over for them. A new trailer has been released by Sony Interactive Entertainment today which confirms the PlayStation Network unlock time for players in North America. This is a crucial bit of information that many God of Wars have likely been waiting for.

The trailer itself is brief and doesn’t give much away but it does bring some great in-game footage that was captured on the PlayStation 4 Pro. The footage is blended in with the cinematics and it’s not easy to differentiate between the two given that the camera doesn’t make any jarring transitions which would amplify the difference.

Not only does this trailer bring in-game footage from the PlayStation 4 Pro, it also confirms the PlayStation Network unlock date for those customers in North America who pre-order the title on their local PlayStation Store. God of War will be unlocked for them on Midnight EDT come April 20th.

The initial God of War reviews are already out and the game has been very well received. The God of War faithful only have a couple of more days to go now before they’re finally able to experience the latest saga in this extremely popular franchise.
