Few buddy duos in cinema are as popular as Han Solo and Chewbacca. While this seemingly unlikely friendship has been chronicled in many Star Wars flicks, fans of the franchise will be well aware that there’s a standalone Han Solo movie in the works. Lucasfilm has released a new teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story which highlights the early days of Han Solo and sheds some light on how his friendship with Chewie developed.

This isn’t the first time that Lucasfilm is teasing fans with clips from the upcoming movie. A couple of trailers have already been released for this film which gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Since this isn’t a new trailer, the teaser is a short one but it does show more of Han Solo and the train heist that’s been highlighted in other trailers as well. We also see more interactions between Solo and Chewbacca including the first time when he finds out his friend’s name.

This shows that the film will likely go into the backstory of the relationship between these two characters after Han saves Chewie from Imperial slavery only to be fired by the Empire as a result of it.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit the big screen on May 25th.
