Facebook’s Marketplace section already enables users to connect with buyers and sellers in their area to purchase or part with items. It’s an easy way of conducting business through the social network that everyone already uses on a daily basis. It’s taking this one step further by enabling users in the United States to get home services through Marketplace. Users will now be able to get in touch with service providers such as plumbers and carpenters through Marketplace.

Asking for recommendations related to home services on Facebook is quite popular in the U.S. Facebook says that since the start of 2018, millions of people have asked their friends for suggestions related to house cleaners, plumbers, and contractors.

It’s making it easier for users to find such service providers now through Marketplace by teaming up with industry leaders such as HomeAdvisor, Handy, and Porch. Marketplace will now be a one-stop solution for users’ next home project by offering them “hundreds of thousands of top-rated professionals across the US.”

The professionals’ rating, reviews, credentials, and location will be displayed with users being able to send their request to multiple people at once. Facebook is rolling out this new services experience today and it will be available to all users in the country over the coming weeks.
