While companies like Apple are charging a couple of hundred bucks for their smartwatches, Xiaomi isn’t trying to compete on the same level and have instead gone to the extreme end, where the company’s previously launched Mi Band devices were set at extremely affordable prices.

That being said, the upcoming Mi Band 3 appears to be no different. According to recent leaks, it seems that the potential pricing of the upcoming Mi Band 3 might have been revealed to be RMB 169, which when converted is roughly around $26. This seems to be in line with the previous Mi Band 2 which is good news for those who want a new fitness tracker.

Unfortunately details about the Mi Band 3 are scarce, but we do know that the company plans to launch it. Xiaomi’s CEO has confirmed that the wearable will launch alongside the Mi 8 on the 31st of May, 2018, which means that we’re only a couple of days away from getting all the official details.

That being said, we expect that the Mi Band 3 will at the very least feature what the Mi Band 2 came with, which includes a display, a step counter, a heart rate sensor, a sleep tracker, and water resistance. If anything we suppose it will most likely see an improvement in battery life and maybe the accuracy of its sensors.
