EA’s Madden series has long been limited to consoles but it’s finally coming back to PC later this year. PC gamers who have been waiting for this franchise to arrive will be delighted to know that EA has confirmed that this year’s new Madden title is going to be released for PC. The last game in the franchise to be released on PC was Madden 08 which was released in 2007.

EA confirmed at its Play conference at E3 2018 this weekend that Madden NFL 19 is going to be released for PC as well this year alongside its console versions. This makes it the first Madden title in over a decade to be released for PC.

EA also mentioned that the title will use its Frostbite engine that it’s also using in the FIFA series. A trailer for the title was also released during the conference which showcased the New York Giants in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Madden NFL 19 is going to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 10th, 2018. EA hasn’t confirmed if this title will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch as well despite the fact that many who own that console will likely be wishing for it to arrive as well.
