There have been rumors that Blizzard has been working to bring Diablo 3 onto the Nintendo Switch. There has even been some sightings to suggest that the reports could be true, although Blizzard later seemed to shut those rumors down. However it turns out it might have all been a ruse.

This is because an article from Forbes (which has since been taken down but saved by the folks at Reddit) and subsequently confirmed by Kotaku has revealed that Diablo 3 is indeed coming to the Switch. It is expected to be released later this year but no specifics on when exactly that will be taking place. Blizzard recently teased that they had multiple Diablo-related projects in the works, leading some to speculate that the Switch version could be one of them.

The version on the Switch will be dubbed the Diablo III Eternal Collection. This will include the game along with the Reaper of Souls expansion, and the Rise of the Necromancer DLC. The best part is that it looks like Blizzard will be giving The Legend of Zelda a nod because if you buy the game, you will also get an armor set that will make you look like Ganondorf from the Zelda franchise.

We expect that more details will be revealed once it has been officially announced (which apparently is tomorrow), so check back with us later for more updates.
