If you’re thinking of getting the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9, you might be interested in getting it from Verizon if you want a good deal. This is because according to a leak from My Verizon app, it appears that the carrier could be getting ready to launch a BOGO deal for the Note 9 if you were to pre-order it.

For those unfamiliar, BOGO deals basically stand for “buy one, get one” where if you buy a handset, you’ll get another handset for “free”. This usually requires customers to pay for two phones at once, but it’s “free” because you’ll get the money back in the form of credit to your bill, which we guess works out to be the same but it’s not the same as only paying for one handset upfront.

Details about the deal are a bit scarce at the moment, but from what we can tell it seems to only apply to pre-orders. This means that if you were hoping to take advantage of the deal after the phone has been launched, you might be disappointed to learn that the deal may no longer be valid.

It is possible that Verizon and other carriers could launch a new deal upon the handset’s release, but we suppose that’s a chance you will have to take. The Note 9 will be officially unveiled on the 9th of August and we expect that pre-order details will be shared then as well.
