We have been hearing rumors that Google has a new Pixelbook in the works. Now thanks to a report from Chrome Unboxed, it appears that a video has leaked online that seems to show the Pixelbook 2 in action, and based on what we can see in the video, it seems to suggest that the device could sport a detachable keyboard.

The video was originally discovered in the Chromium Bug Tracker. The listing in the Bug Tracker has since been removed, but the video has been reuploaded which you can check out for yourself in the video above. It’s not a particularly long video, but it shows that the device will have a touchscreen and based on the design of the device, it also looks like a detachable keyboard could be part of it.

In terms of specs, it is unclear as to what kind of hardware the Pixelbook 2 could be packing. We have heard rumors that the device might have a 4K display, but it’s hard to tell based on just the video. That being said, Google has an event scheduled for the 9th of October in which their Pixel 3 smartphones will be announced.

It is possible that the event will also see Google unveil the Pixelbook 2, but whether or not that is true remains to be seen, but check back with us next month for the details.
