With more and more manufacturers ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack and moving to USB Type-C, there’s significant demand for high-quality yet affordable Type-C earphones/earbuds. OnePlus is looking to meet that demand with its new USB Type-C Bullets earbuds. The company’s first Bullets earphones were quite a hit so fans would certainly appreciate that the latest version supports USB-C.

OnePlus says that it has made several big improvements to the earbuds to deliver even more powerful and crisp sound compared to Bullets V2. The shape’s metal design is used to produce a balanced sound for clear highs and booming lows.

The company has also paid special attention to the comfort. It has added aramid fibers to the Bullets’ wire so that it’s more durable and resistant to stretching. A new DAC, integrated with the help of Ciruss Logic, offers a higher signal-to-noise ratio, dynamic range, and lower noise floor. This will make the music appear clearer and more powerful with little to no loss in quality.

The existing earphones, Bullets V2, were priced at $19.99 at launch. OnePlus is keeping the same price for the USB-C Bullets as well. The new Bullets will be available for purchase when the company’s upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 6T, is launched in the near future.
