With the end of the year only being a few months away, this means that Google certainly doesn’t have a lot of time to waste when it comes to making its latest Pixel phones available to customers, at least if they’re hoping to get it in by the holiday season. The good news for would-be Pixel 3 customers is that you won’t need to wait too long.

According to a report from 9to5Google, it seems that Google has confirmed in an email that they have sent out to customers that pre-orders for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be going live immediately after the event comes to an end, which is currently scheduled to take place on the 9th of October.

No word on when the phones themselves will be released, but from what we’ve seen, it should be available a week or two after pre-orders go live. There is also no mention of pricing but we imagine that it shouldn’t stray too far from the pricing of its predecessor, although admittedly Google has been steadily increasing the price of its Pixel handsets over the years.

In any case we should find out all the official details for ourselves in less than a week, so do check back with us on the 9th of October for more updates.
