There are plenty of routers out there for users to choose from, ranging from routers that are cheap and affordable, to routers that are designed to provide maximum coverage, and of course there are also routers designed for gamers. For example we’ve seen companies such as Linksys, Netgear, and TP-Link throw their support behind such devices.

Now it looks like we have a new entrant in the router business and it comes in the form of Razer. Razer is a company known by many for their gaming peripherals such as keyboards and mice, but the company has been branching out into other products as of late, such as smartphones, and now routers with the Razer Sila.

While it can be used for non-gamers, Razer is marketing the Sila as a router for gamers thanks to features such as Razer FasTrack and Multi-Channel ZeroWait DFS that promise to try and reduce latency as much as possible. The Sila is also capable of mesh networking where if you’re so inclined, you could combine multiple Sila routers to create a mesh network for your home.

If this sounds good to you, then you might be interested to learn that the Razer Sila will officially go on sale on the 3rd of October, 2018 where it will be priced at $250.
