EA did drop hints recently that it may remaster the Command & Conquer games and it’s now offering more information about the plan. The publisher has confirmed that it will be offering remastered versions of the first two Command & Conquer games. That’s not all, the original C&C and Red Alert games will be remastered in 4K.

The original Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command & Conquer: Red Alert games are being remastered in 4K, EA has confirmed. All expansion packs for these games will be bundled with the base games into one remastered collection thus eliminating the need for microtransactions.

To stay true to the original experiences, EA is teaming up with some of the very talented developers who worked on the titles decades ago. EA will be teaming up with Petroglyph Games to develop the C&C remastered collection. The studio has many of the original developers from Westwood Studios and some of the core members of the original Command & Conquer development team from 1995.

The publisher is teaming up with Lemon Sky Studios to bring these titles to 4K glory. It’s one of the premier art studios around the world that’s very skilled in remastering classic RTS games like Command & Conquer. EA hasn’t said when the remastered titles will arrive. It may take some time as work is yet to begin.
