Fans of Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 are probably pretty excited and psyched that the game is getting a 4K remake. Previously footage from the game was released which showed off the game running in 4K at a very smooth 60fps. Now thanks to more videos shared on YouTube, we get to see more of the game’s in-game footage.

The clips themselves aren’t particularly long and run for a few seconds, but boy do they look good. They certainly don’t look like the Resident Evil 2 that many fans have come to know and love, but considering that the game was released 20 years ago, we suppose a massive overhaul of its graphics was to be expected, and to be honest it’s also very much welcome as it basically feels like a brand new game.

The game is currently set for a release on the 25th of January, 2019 where it will be playable on the Xbox One and the PS4 as well as the PC. In fact if you wanted to know if your computer is capable of running the game, the minimum and recommended hardware requirements have been posted onto Steam (where you can also pre-order the game), so check it out if you want to know if you need to make any upgrades to your PC ahead of the game’s release.
