While companies like Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and LG have been busy churning out new phones, Sony has actually remained somewhat quiet on that front. However it seems that the company is working on a new device, a new flagship in the form of the Sony Xperia XZ4.

Now thanks to renders created by @OnLeaks in collaboration with MySmartPrice, we have an idea of what the phone could look like, and one of the handset’s defining features is how it will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The reports are claiming that the handset will feature a 6.5-inch display, a huge jump over the 6-inch display of the Xperia XZ3.

It also seems that Sony is trying to adopt an edgeless display, although they are keeping the top and bottom bezels, where the top bezels will house the front-facing camera and sensors. For those who hate the notch design, then we guess this is good news, although it means that it won’t have the full screen illusion that other handsets have achieved.

As for security, there does not appear to be a visible fingerprint sensor on the back, which means that Sony could continue to use the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, either that or they are using an in-display sensor or something else entirely. Take these renders with a grain of salt for now, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the phone were to be announced at CES or MWC 2019.
